Kirsten (Texasunset) is experiencing some significant medical issues and is going to drop from our group. Melinda (Nexxus831) has offered to step in to take her place. So, we are still at 4 members, but we're all confirmed and going to make it work!

Paula, Kirsten is going to send your row (which she rec'd earlier this month) to Melinda. So, the rotation will go like this:

Me (TheMamaHauser) to Paula (Dragonfly Nana)
Paula (Dragonfly Nana) to Melinda (Nexxus831)
    Melinda (Nexxus831) to Evelyn (ebellot)
    Evelyn (ebellot) to me (TheMamaHauser)

I will get Paula and Melinda's addresses in a separate PM.

I propose that we alter our shipping dates a bit since we're a month behind now but also short a person.

Previously, we were to ship Dec 1, Feb 1, Apr 1, July 1, and Sep 1.

How do you ladies feel about shifting this by 1 month?

We could do Mar 1, May 1, Aug 1, and then we don't need to adjust the last date since there are only 4 of us.

Please respond to this via PM so I know you're aware of the change.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I'll do my best to figure things out as quickly as possible!

I am wondering the pattern I was going to ask for my blocks is the granny squares and it uses 7 strips of 2.5 so that would make my blocks 14.5. I know the blocks were only supposed to be 12.5 could it be possible for mine to be a little bigger? If not I completely understand. Thanks for everything guys. Also I will send the directions for the squares and they are super super easy

oooooopppppppssss the squares are only 9.5" would it be ok? The blocks are super easy to make. I will send the pattern and the outer colors that I want for the theme. This is a picture of one that I made. I will send the strips of the white so that no one has to worry about getting the matching one. If you allow this I thank you so very much.

Welcome to our group Melinda! I am fine with making this specific block for you.
Am I correct in that you want the each center to be scrappy and white all around?
Also, if that is the regular white by Kona - I have plenty. tee hee

You are absolutely correct the center will be scrappy but the white is Kona Snow which is a little off. I don't want anyone to be out any expenses and I have plenty already cut in 2.5 strips

I am fine with whatever size you tell me to make.

On a related note, I cannot wait for Wednesday! Midget (my 8 y/o) goes back to school and I have exactly 8 days of "freedom" until my classes start back up on the 14th. I'm going to hopefully get both my rows done (I'm in another group, too) and finish up a few random UFO's that are staring at me and taking up valuable space on the shelves.

I downgraded to 14 credit hours this semester (from 18 last semester) and only 60 observational hours. I'm hoping it goes much smoother than the fall!

Woo hoo - Freedom! Motherhood is great but I remember how much "me" time is much needed too.
Enjoy the time Kelly, and with the cut back on you credits you might be able to breath a little more.

I truly don't know how you do it. I was a working mother of one so I can't imagine how you do it with more than one and a hubby to boot!

Melinda, thanks for the clarity. You are right that Kona Snow is not a bright white - more of a softer, off white.
I mixes well with most prints - but not "white" whites.
I think it is going to be fun making your block. I have lots of "scraps" that will go into them perfectly.
