    I got my 1st Row in the mail from Barbara. I'll be working on it this weekend. This is going to be so much fun!!!

    I have to make a Project Linus Quilt because our Hancock's is having a BIG Ordeal on June 19th with the newspaper and other people there. So they asked our quilt group to make a quilt to donate that day.

    Got my row from Belles in the mail today. Just picked fabric now to pick pattern. Going to work on them tomorrow during my sit and sew at LQS. Would love to get them in the mail early since grandkids are coming Friday to stay with me for a month. Need to get all the sewing I can done. lol

    A MONTH??? You're great Grandparents. I only have one grandchild and although we've been blessed to have Alyssa Peri for a weekend each month since she was born, I don't know if I have the energy to keep up with her for a month at age 11. She's into Ice Skating, Ballet, Drama Club, Geography Club, Science Club, a Soccer Team and Softball Team and I get tired just watching her on the ice/on the stage/on the diamond/etc.

    BTW, if you wish, you can post a photo of my Row Robin Quilt once you complete the blocks and sashing. I'm too eager to see it month by month than to wait a year to see the finished rows. Belles

    I just finished my first block, going to show it off tomorrow and see if it get LQS approval Then I might show it off here. LOL
    My grandkids are a girl 14 and boy 11, youngest one isn't coming (7) The older ones are easy, 14 year old loves to sew and quilt with me, her goal this summer is to make 4 quilts. We will see. Since they live in Fl and I am here is Louisiana only get to see them about 2 times a year so I treasure the time we have

    I think that's so nice that your granddaughter likes to quilt with you. My now 20-year-old grandson used to sew with me when he stayed with us on weekends when he about 7 or 8. It was really fun.

    How nice to have the grandkids for awhile...I wish we could have done that with our kids when they were young. Our family always lived so far. Enjoy them!!!!
