My thoughts are to match what the other people have choosen. After all they are going to be the ones that end up with it after all the rows are finished. I think if we didn't do that it would not flow well into each row.
That's one way of looking at it, here's another. Check out the photo of the "Sisters' Quilt" I posted on page 2 of this thread. We did not follow exactly the colors in each row, yet the Row Robin flows beautifully. Do we want the RR to showcase the skill, talent and color sense of quilters from different areas, or do we want the RR to reflect only our color choices? Either way the RR will be unique. Belles

I pulled this straight from the first page:

"Row 1: You make 10 blocks 6 1/2 x6 1/2 from Quilters cache "Four Patch Variation " sew together it should be 6 1/2 x 60 1/2 In the colors you desire. We will add rows to match and when you get it back its done .

I hope that helps to clear it up for you

Well, let me put my 2 cents in...for my quilt I have no preference...I just like the idea that I got pieces of quilt from different parts of the country/world. I say for my quilt go for it! I will follow the color scheme for other quilts I receive unless instructed otherwise :)

Ladies please remember to put your board name on a piece of paper and the row you did, so we can know who did what and where it came from, someone I think wants to put there signature block beside that row
