It was in a recent quilt magazine, I will have to search for it. You put ribbons around the wrappers and tack them down. I'll wait to do that until it is done traveling. It is really just a snowball block.

I am a newbie here and have a question for anyone that wouldn't mind answering.

I have looked at some of the womderful quilts you all are in the process of making, but I have noticed that some of them stay in the same color coordinates for a nice overall look while some others are a rainbow of color.

    Why?

    Thanks for the newbie ?

Some of the participants wanted the quilt color coordinated and others didn't care if every row was the exact colors chosen by the owner. A lot of the quilts retain the flavor or style of the first row (calico - batiks - Christmas or candy themed), but not necessarily the same shade of the colors used. Belles

The basic rule is to stay color coordinated unless the owner of the quilt wants otherwise. I have 2 quilts going around in this row robin -- one will be donated to a child through Project Linus and I asked that it be colorful. The other one is color coordinated. I haven't seen all the quilts but I think that there is only one other that is very colorful.
