I'll keep a good thought for you. I'm sure it will be beautiful.

I did stay up a little bit later than usual last night to at least cut out my fabric and sew an inset triangle to make sure I could do it right without having to paper-piece it. I was sucessful, but it took longer than I wanted it to. Good thing I only have eleven more to go! ha ha. There has got to be an easier way to do it than what I am doing... but since it is only one block, I will just keep going.

I am DONE! I just finished up my label. I added a row 6... just in case I decide to do something more when I get it back... but can always take out the stitches if I decide I don't.

Here it is!!! Phew... so glad it is done.

Thanks. I was really tempted last night to just scrap it and fussy cut. Glad I stuck with it. Tomorrow I am showing my students a movie... ha ha.

At least you should sleep well now, knowing you got it done. I'm sure the students won't mind a movie. Anything good?

I am going to show "Horrible Histories: The Measly Middle Ages" to them tomorrow. It will take about half the class period. The other half will be them doing some reading. Easy day!

Oh...BTW... I got some great fabric today from fabric.com that is perfect to get started on the first row of your center. I ordered it last Tuesday, before your center came! How fun.

Sounds like a lovely movie.....I'll pass on that one.
I'm sure whatever you do for the first border on my quilt will be wonderful. Aren't you the smart one knowing what fabric to order even before you got to see the block in person! I love doing round robins and the excitement of waiting to see the whole thing in the end is so much fun for me.

I have only read a few of the "Horrible History" books. I haven't seen one of their videos, so I might decide after my first class that I too am going to pass on watching it three more times. Middle schoolers tend to like gross stuff, so it might appeal to them.

I have never done a RR before, but have wanted to. I worry that I won't do someone's work justice. I will do my best, though.
