Wow, how's this, three pics posted so far, and one of my Santas'in each. Mine are still winging their way here over the oceans, but I can't wait to see them all.

I rec'd my Santa blocks Friday. I love the variety? These will go in with my snowman, winter theme and the snowflakes, along with some other blocks I've been holdong onto. Such variety I will be making several lap quilts. I thank everyone who made Santa blocks and thank you Pv for hosting. Try to take it easy with your knee. You will be in our prayers. ;)

I just came home from getting my mail and was thrilled to see I had a surprise! My santa blocks came today!!! What a great variety of blocks and the workmanship is beautiful!! I plan on putting them together for a xmas quilt for my mom and can't wait to start working on it! Thank you everyone for the great job and to PV for hosting this swap in the midst of nursing a bad knee.

DQD Lori - You beat me! :| :) I knew mine wouldn't come early, our regional PO just closed & moved all the sorting to another location. They even made the news this morning -- seems the powers that be didn't acurately estimate the volume of mail & did not keep enough employees. Go figure! So, altho the local congressman & a senator are involved, our mail is still coming in spurts. Humans (& even machines!) can only work so fast. :| :-( I say we give a few thousand people all over the country- in every field- their jobs back --- then maybe things would run smoother & people would have a paycheck again!! :!:
I'll get off my soapbox now... ;-) & in the meantime, I'm enjoying the pics of those blocks recv'd :-)
