I want to thank everyone for the Santa's which Joyce(pvquilter) sent Monday. I am absolutely thrilled with them all! Our family will have T.Giving next Thursday, so I am taking them and letting the grands and our kids pick out one Santa and we will mount it on Construction paper until I can put them in a pillow or wall hanging next year.
Our daughter lost her husband in early May, and I had signed up to be in the block swap. I had to back out at the last minute, as we were spending most of our time with her and the 3 girls.
I wanted to send a picture of her and the girls. In spite of Joyce's directions, I still can't figure out how to post the picture on this page. I feel so "dumb," I don't want to bother her again.
Thanks again for a wonderful, thoughtful surprise. Yes, the lady who requested her 4 blocks be passed on, I gave to our program chairman at Guild Mon. Eve. She is going to use them in our Christmas Party somehow.
    Thanks again, ladies.
    Mariah--

    quiltwoman...
Hi, I am Mariah. When the swap opened, I wanted to join. Then things went from bad to worse, and I wrote and told Joyce--pvquilter, I had better not try it.
Our daughter's husband took his life in early May, '10, and left her with 3 children-7-3 months. We spent lots of time going, them coming, keeping them for seveal days, ect, ect.
Joyce, pvquilter, sent blocks from the swap since I didn't get to take part. I remember seeing one of your blocks. So, I am writing to ask; how do I get a picture of our daughter and 3 girls to this thread? I can do it to just the main post, but don't know how to do it to a thread.
    Would you mind helping me?
    Thanks, Mariah.
