Scrap Swap! Sign-up ends February 7, 2012
Let's have a Scrap Swap!
Anyone working on postage stamp quilts, crazy quilts, piecing projects, or wall art hangings are always in need of scrap pieces. Because so many of us are in need…we're having a swap.
Number of participants will be limited to 25.
Sign-Up begins February 1[SUP]st [/SUP]and ends February 7, 2012
Mailing deadline is February 14th for US and international.
Description:
Participants fill a Flat Rate Envelope stuffed with scraps. You can send your scraps to me the cheapest way possible, but you must include a postage stamp of $5.15 for return postage.
Scraps should be 100% cotton (NO FLANNEL)
Minimum size would be 2 x 2” squares and/or 1” strips.
Any irregular cut pieces are acceptable as long as a 2 x 2” square can be cut from it.
Maximum size would be a FQ.
Please label your package with your board name and state/country.
Flat Rate Envelope should be full. My post office will accept a stuffed envelope as long as I’m able to tape it closed.
You can send your scraps to me the cheapest way possible, but you must include a postage stamp of $5.15 for return postage. Scraps will NOT be swapped if you do not include a stamp for return postage.
Only send scraps you would want to receive. If you aren't sure, do not include it.
Please graciously accept what you receive.
Remember, this is a scrap swap. There are no guarantees as to what you will receive. If, for some reason, you are not happy with your scrap package, please keep it to yourself. NO public complaints or criticisms of other swappers, or items received.
Coordinated by: Twisted Quilter (If you want to be added to this group activity, please send me a private message.)
