That sounds like a great idea. How does it get quilted then? Do you hand quilt it?

Ok.......I am writing on my blocks now. After reading through some of the old links I see that some people are writing more than just their first last name city state and country. Just what are most of you writing on your quilts?
    thanks

I will put the backing on the same time as the wadding and might stitch down the seams of the sig block once pinned on....either that or the seams when I join the outside strips on will be enough quilting for a block that size anyway.
