What is your secret? I'm very disorganized I guess.
In addition to lots of yard work, washed and dried clothes. Hope to get them folded and put away today! Got to the library and then had to read some of course!
    LOL
If I need to do alot of simple cuts; I cut strips; in this case 2 1/2 ".. layer the strips in stacks of no more than 4 high, 2 rows, and cut to width, I did the same with the 3 1/2 " squares, it goes really fast; I had 180 total blocks cut in a a couple hours, from start to finish :)
Jelly rolls are great time savers and some of the quilt shops have accu cut machines and for a small fee will cut your pieces. Moosegirl

I wish I had known this when I was cutting out my squares, but I'm all finished, signed and ready to go to the post office tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting them mailed, and all.... Thank you for this opportunity to participate - hope my blocks will be ok.

I mailed my blocks off yesterday. I made 175. They are in a ziploc bag with my address label on the outside also. Wrote boardname on labels.

Failed to mentioned that I put my 180 blocks in a zip-lock bag with boardname and amount on front of baggie, plus stuck a return label on front of baggie and inside of baggie with my name and address.

I just want to be clear, we only send the number we want to get back. I'm up to 108 and miscalculated the yardage of white material, so need to go get more if I'm to do the 174. I think I have time, but not sure.

So if I send 108, I get 108 back correct?

Thanks for clearning up my confusion

yes, if you send in 108 you get 108 back. You still have 3 weeks until the mailing date to make the rest.

I've just mailed my 174 blocks in a ziplock baggie with my name / boardname on it.
Hope they have a safe trip. :D

    I'm having a problem.

I'll be able to send in my squares just fine. I ordered the small priority (3 DVD size) boxes from the post office, and lots of the $4.95 redwood forest stamps.

But, I can't put a return box inside my sent box. So, what should I do?

I could fold up a 9x12 manilla return envelope, but what about postage? Would those $4.95 stamps work on the envelope, too? Or are they made specifically for those boxes? And how many stamps should I put on it?

Any suggestions about how I can do this appreciated. (I have no way to get to a brick and mortar post office.)

The blocks will fit in a flat mailer and postage on those are 4.95, so if you send me just the stamp (please put it in a envelpe so it doesn't get lost) I can get a mailer to use to send back your blocks.
