    No, I think I'll do 6" blocks for the middle and put the 3" blocks around the outside. When I get time I'll do it in EQ6 and post a pic.

    I like friendship star it is easy to put together. I have designed a pattern to put the siggie blocks in. They will be the windows in each block.

    Me too! I can think of great ways to do the siggie blocks as a border... but not necessarily in a quilt top (unless it's the lattice, which I like, but isn't calling to me). Would LOVE to see how this idea works!

    I like to do things a little different...inside each window is a sig block, every 8 sections will hold 40 of the blocks.

    I have always wanted a signature quilt. I've sent a message asking to be included. Though I'm new here, I've been quilting for 30 years. I love the suggested layout ideas I've seen so far. What a talented group of ladies ya'll are!
