These are the pens I use, any fabric pen will work.

I want one from everyone!! I will be starting soon.

In the instructions it said 100% cotton washed, my question is that if I use scraps not all of my pieces(color) have been washed, (the white will be) is this ok??

Try putting hte scraps in a laundry bag for bras, etc (or a pillow case) and run them through the wash.

For other siggy blocks that I have made I just used a fine point sharpie. he only thing is that it needs to be heat set, so after it is all dry usually the next day I iron all the blocks.
I have not had any bleed or run.
