Secret Pal- February 2018
#16
Hello Swappers! We are up to 10 participants right now. We need a few more so we can mix it up! In the meantime, I'd like people to post the most unexpected thing they ever received in a swap. Something you were pleased with, and hit you as a happy surprise!

Crispy's in charge? How could I not join!
I'll send you my info.
As for my most unexpected thing? Hm...I received a lint roller and I thought....huh? And THEN I started working in my quilting cave for a while and realized how nice it was to have when using the seam ripper. I could pull all the schnibbles out with the roller. I have gone through two full ones so far. So what was a 'eh' item, turned out to be a necessity! Experienced quilters make the best swappers

Hi Have4boys- We will miss you this month! Hope to see you in the future!
Red- I knew I could count on you! Thanks for joining! I like the lint roller. It's a thoughtful idea.
Very recently, I was the recipient of a swap package from England. Before I opened the package, my husband studied the package, saw the image of the Queen on the post mark and recalled his visit there. (I've never been.) He was reminiscing about buildings, history and gardens of lavender. I opened the package and there was a sweet little sachet of lavender that was carefully cultivated in the sender's garden. Both my husband and I jumped on it. We were both delighted!
