I thank you so much Blue Cat for your special creation just for me. It will be a conversation piece also. I have been busy today helping my dad, so I will post pictures of another sweet birdie tonight. Watch out everyone, there are birds flying around this swap.

What does everyone use in the middle of their NCs to out the pins in? I have fleece, felt an some green felted wool. The wool doesn't really match what I am making but if it the best I will use it.

Ashjoy, I am the same way, my sewing machine is giving me fits and it tried to eat my NC yesterday. My husband says I can order my new machine soon, stuff just keeps coming up and I also feel selfish for wanting/buying it.

I will be finishing my projects this weekend and sending out by the deadline of May 1st. Having a couple of jobs and a couple of active kids really puts a cramp in my sewing/quilting time. But no worries.
