    received my pin coushion from Nancia today. It is in the shap of a flower and has a snap band so you can whare it on our wrist. Photos later.

    Well, here is my pincushion going out to a lucky quilter. I decided to try the Cathedral Window block for this one as I'd never made one before. I think it came out really cool!

    Thank you everyone. Feeling so hohum but need to snap out of this. In everything, God has a plan and the end of this week is celebrating my eldest son's accomplishments.

    Mary Bryant made my day! I received the most awesome needlebook. Makes me embarassed of mine. In addition, I received 3 Australian materials. Absoultely love it all!

    As you can see from the picture above, I already used a needle. That is dental floss attached to the needle as I had to attach a button to a bow-tuck purse and dental floss is the best!

    i'm still waiting on a pincushion and a needlecase. i think i didn't post pictures yet of the awesome needle Book ashjoy made for me! it is a treasure!! i will take pix today and post them. i have totally lost track of time as i try to finish up all swaps so i can make my dgd's 2nd birthday quilt and dress. her b'day is august 3rd, just over 2 months away. doesn't it seem impossible that august is that close??? where did this year go?????

    I am so sorry to read of your recent bereavement Kathy and have kept you in my prayers these passed days.

    Cindy those pincushions, and needle cases are very pretty. I like that butterfly needle case.
