What he's actually saying nicely is...honey, that would be a great man-cave. Lol

    silly expression = man cave

Well, he can have the shed or the basement. Before we bought the house, I had told him I was going to take over the top of the garage if we bought.

[QUOTE=tlrnhi;5546088]Since ya'll are talking about visiting sewing room, I thought I'd give you a preview, just a little on of my sewing room.
See this 3 car garage? See the top windows? Well, up there, the ENTIRE top will be my sewing room, once I get all my things here.[/QUOTE

    That will be nice!

Terri, how big is the area? My studio is 14 X 30. Lots of room!

Now that's the house we should have. DH would love the garage for all his junk (I mean antique car stuff) and I could have the upstairs. Guess I have to settle for the bedroom I took as soon as DS moved out.

No clue, never measured it, but the top is the same size as the garage. The garage has 3 bays and the door is a workshop area and it will fit 1 car and the tractor (nose to nose) heading straight in. Maybe 70 feet long? I dunno. Maybe I'll have Bill measure it when he comes back up here.
Get ahold of Patrice, she's seen it. She loves my house, especially my front porch and rockers.

Wow, Terri! That is wonderful. When we lived in Michigan we had a 3-car (actually 2-car and 1 large truck bay in center) detached garage. I never would have thought to have me sewing out there. I have the basement now, but that would be a great place for my sewing and long arm. Is this place in PA? I may need to see it in person.
