I sympathize with all of you who are dealing with sickness/death in your families this time of year. I, too, have not received anything. But, I understand that a lot of people seem to be dealing with unexpected family problems so I am not worried. It will happen and if I don't have a gift for Sunday's opening I will still check in to see what everyone else gets! It will be fun. I am a believer that 'tis better to give than to receive!

Love seeing what everyone gets, this swap is so much run. I'm hoping the person who received what I sent likes the pkg. I had fun wrapping everything up. I know she received it - according to the PO it was delivered 11/27 but she hasn't acknowledged it here on the thread. Hopefully she will post pictures because I didn't take any. As of todays mail I haven't received my pkg. but Terri was notified that it was sent, so hopefully tomorrow I will get it in the mail. I'm actually waiting for 2 secret santa swaps (one is from a Facebook group I belong to). Life does get in the way sometimes so we just have to go with the flow.

Life does get in the way but I Beleive if you commit to something you should go thru with it or notify someone well in advance you are unable too. I have been on the receiving side where my SP did not follow thru and its pretty upsetting after all the time and thought I put in the package I sent. So if you dont or can't follow thru then dont sign up. Its as simple as that!

I've been chatting to my last year's Secret Santa and sent her a photo of my new(ish) puppy Baxter. She mentioned that she couldn't upload a photo on a private message (asks for URL.........). It worked fine for me the first time, then couldn't do it again - typical.

I then thought, 'Why don't we all cheer ourselves up and share our photos of our much loved pets?' (furry or otherwise, Christmassy or not). Here's mine.
