Painiacs, did you say cheesecake? Yes, yes, and yes! Cheesecake is one of the basic food groups in the hole.
Which raises an interesting question... If you were a Golden Girl, which Golden Girl would you be? I think I'd be Dorothy -- even though I'm only 5'2".

WOW I knew that I loved that fabric when I bought, but
had no idea so many others would like it too.
I just wish I could find the blue/green in that pattern so far
no luck thought. Bought that fabric at the quilt shop I visit
in the mountains when we go to the cabin.

One of the joys for me in this is that I have moved to a new state and need to bond with it. This New Orleans gal has to become a Mississippi gal. I'm on a search for the perfect MS-themed stuff (nonsport focused unless my elf has mentioned that) to send to my elf. I hope everyone is posting their additional responses to the questions being asked as they enjoy the cheesecake in the hole. I brought some M&M brownies and left them on the table for you all to enjoy, too.
BTW, I'm not a big Keurig person. I vaguely remember someone posting questions about Keurig likes and dislikes. I own the pot but finding flavors I'm willing to consume in coffee or tea has proven to be a fruitless labor. I could load up my Teavana teas into the individual holders but the flavor just isn't the same as brewing a big pot.

Dear Secret Santa,
There is 1 very important thing I must mention (if it is not to late).
PLEASE NO kitty treats.
One of my kitties has been battling UTI, and Bladder infections since
June, so we put ALL three of them on a strict diet prescribe by their
Dr.
Thank you in advance.
"mom" to Kiko, Nim, and Gizmo

cats with perpetual bladder infections are not fun... I switched my kitty litter to something less dusty because my neutered male kept getting infections. I also added water to the soft food to increase liquid consumption. Seems to have done the trick after many, many trips to vet to deal with the bladder crystals. Good luck Quilty Louise!!

Ok, everyone!
I still have the glitch and cannot find the "mistake".
Hubs says I inputted something wrong, but we will just get thru it.
What has happened is.......I ended up with one person that will be receiving 2 packages, or that's what it looks like. Sooo....with that being said.....hubby has put all names into a hat and is drawing the name of the person that will be rec'ing 2packages. I think that's a great present for someone!
At the moment, I'm not doing anything....I'm going to do a cross check again, but first I have to go to the church so we can get pictures taken for the church directory. Once I am back, I'll be working away at this.
Until then....stay patient with me!!

I am a newbie to the Secret Santa exchange and am excited to be a part of it. I recognize some of the questions below, but will answer again.
1. What's your favorite color? Worst color? Love all colors, but not drabs. Love brights, batiks, and neutrals. I've gotten started making neutral quilts and love them. They go with everything and would be great gifts for someone I might not know their color preferences. Do NOT like Halloween. I wish I could leave on that night and not be home. Love autumn, Christmas best.
2. Fabric type - Batik, solids, floral, Civil War, 30's, other? Do not care for novelty fabrics, but I have some, so who knows? I am open to trying new things, but love batiks, florals, small prints, tone on tones, etc.
3. Quilting style - traditional, modern, scrappy? Traditional and scrappy. NOT modern. Does not appeal to my eye.
4. Pets? what kind & how many? One cat, very spoiled.
5. Coffee or Tea? Neither, but on rare occasion I drink a mint tea. I can't tolerate caffeine, but it isn't an issue for me like it would be for my husband! I also seldom have hot chocolate.
6. Chocolate - love it or hate it? LOVE it. Dark chocolate best, then milk, but not white as much. Unfortunately, I will still eat it!
7. Do you prefer homemade gifts or store bought? Either.
8. What's your favorite flower? Geraniums, carnations. Pinks and reds. I know, it's weird.
9. Your favorite snack? Popcorn, caramels, Cheez-its, Goldfish crackers, M & Ms (except for the crispy ones), peanut and chocolate combos, both salty ones and sweet ones. I love to snack.
10. What's playing in your sewing area when you're there? T.V., music, book? I usually have the TV on since I am in an alcove off the living room and I watch shows on demand that I missed during the week such as Project Runway, reality shows, or head to Netflix. I need something going on to help me keep track of time.
I hope this helps. I am pretty open to most anything. It will be fun to see what I get and to make sure that my person is happy.

Quilty Louise - i can so relate to o]your kitty issues. woke up to kitty barf all over the ironing board! O h well, at least she missed all the fabric!
Off to an art festival in Orange County today with my BFF. Maybe will find something I can stick in my package.
My Santa pal lives way north of me and will not really care for USA or Thanksgiving items I'm guessing!
