absolutely love gift cards to Joanne's. we recently got a Hobby lobby but havent been out to visit it yet. dont need subscriptions as l ready get like 8 different ones. got so i dont know if i owe them or if they are just trying to get me to renew my subscriptions. i look at connecting threads or keepsake quilting catalogs and wish i could afford to buy some of their patterns or materials. someday i would love to be able to one of the many bargello quilts they showcase.
i stopped into the thrift store yesterday on my way home from bingo at the VFW (lost again as usual) and found 2 lovely green fingertip towels to cross stitch. brand new with tags still attached for less than the price of one at Joanne's. found a design that will stitch up fast so i can include them in the box for my secret santee. Now if i could just find a box big enough.....

OK, hope I am not too late with this information for my SS. As previously mentioned I forgot to add this to my threads so have missed out on all the conversation.

    3. Quilting style - traditional, modern, scrappy? Traditional

What kind of scissors to you use for cutting out the shapes? I am not sure of the brand name. They are really sharp and I used then when I was doing Hardanger.
Have you ever used (or own) a pair of the Fiskar micro tip spring action scissors? No

Mosre questions to come later (when I think of them).

Is any one in the Hole? I cant hear any noises etc Maybe theres a garden party happening somewhere for all the good girls and I havent heard about it. I'm being good, posted off my box, crept to the edge of the hole & peered in but...NOTHING! My SS may think I'm bad though as I forget to say what I like (I dont dislike anything except quarantine and postage rates) Love fabric though and in my town, good fabric is hard to find.
