Okay Red, I don't know how to post links within the Quilting Board, so follow these instructions: Go to search, click on advanced. Under keywords, type in Secret Santa and hit enter. Now go to the 2009 Secret Santa. Then go to page 251. This is just an example of what I have seen in the archives. Scout around through some of the other archives and I'm sure you will see the many gifts that I was referring to. But be warned, it can be a time-consuming endeavor. If you skip to the last pages in each archived year, that is where the photos are.

Hmmm, reading all your posts about sending/receiving from the same address, I too am wondering. I also sent to the same state that my SS package came from. It'll be interesting to see if that's what Terri did. It sure would have been easier for her. Dang -- we have to wait another four weeks to find out!

I've been looking trying to find the opening date, must be going blind or senile, can't seem to locate it. Can someone tell me when I can open my heavy package? I am like a little kid, cannot stand the wait! LOL

i am absolutely amazed at all the open talk of a hostess gift on this thread
where not only we read it but so does the hostess. Some surprise that is.

Yippee!! My Secret Santa present just arrived. Now the hard part, waiting until opening day which is just three days after my birthday.
I finally finish hand quilting a 60 year old log cabin quilt that had been hand-pieced. That has been keeping me busy for the last 2 months. None stop sewing, my hands & fingers are so stiff and sore they feel like they will never straighten out.

Sorry, folks. This is my first year doing this, and I didn't know how else to find out if anything would or does get done. I apologize for the question. If something does normally get done, I don't know about it, and certainly didn't mean to cause any hard feelings, ruin surprises, or have anger aimed my way.
I truly apologize and will quietly bow out.
