My pkg is ready to go, but I am waiting to send it. I will be sending it in a priority mail box so that only takes about 2 days to get to its destination. I received my box in Oct. and it's killing me not to rip into it.

Just back from week long road trip from OK to SC for business conference. Stopped by Cotton Museum in SC & picked up things for my SS. Then drove to upstate NY to visit aged aunt (93) who still lives at home! I shop hopped some more & picked up fabulous FQs & some yardage.
Nasty mountain passes with snow storms on the way home, ugh, and it was my turn to drive!
SS package is wrapped & mailing sometime this week. I sure hope she likes what I send for my first SS swap. Not to tease my SS, but I hope the Post Office can handle such a heavy package! lol
Will try to make the marshmallow kalua apertifs for Thanksgiving, thanks for the idea!

I'm afraid I'm totally intimidated by Dear Jane.

Dear hubby bought me Dear Jane (with CD) & Farmer's Wife for anniversary, in process of selecting fabrics 'cause they all seem so antique. I aim to have them turn out right, but will have to take it slow, those are small pieces!
    hugs,
    DJ
