I'm going to sign up also! I had so much fun last year!

I just want to add that it might not even be that some people are more "generous", but that some people might be in a position to spend a little more.

When shopping for last year's swap I could have and would have spent much more except that hubby was unemployed, we'd lost our housing, were living with wonderful family and I just couldn't swing it financially!

I wouldn't want to be considered cheap if I "HAD" to stick to the budget. So...that's my 2 cents worth...lol

I will PM you with my info in the next day or so!

Went to a yard sale and spent $1 and got something very cute for the swap. Now I'm off to my LQS to pick out some FQs.

Don't forget, handmade is always welcome. I haven't gotten too many small handmade things but the ones I have I will cherish forever and have a special place in my sewing space.

Suzanne (who has already begun shopping for her pal too)

I am window shopping but not buying a thing until I get my name and see what fabrics she likes. I would hate to get something she would hate.

I love handmade gifts. It means that someone was thinking about me when they made it.

And I'll be making something(s) for my partner.

I did make 3 little purchases, but they're super generic so I've put off purchasing until I know my partners name and her likes/dislikes

LOL you gals!!! I think it's "bee's wax".... the "whacking" part comes from what you want to do to bees.
