Grandme26, I had started to work on the hand made gift that I will be making for my NICE. SS person and had to vacate my house in a hurry. My daughter called to tell me my neighbors called and said they smelled a gas leak from my house. They had knocked on my door but I was deeply into sewing and did not hear them My son-in-law picked me up half way to his house. Fortunately we live just a few house from each other. I am now sitting at their house waiting for the gas company to come and shut the meter off. Fortunately the only gas appliances are the heater/ac unit and the hot water heater. Any way I am over here for awhile. Will complete the gift tomorrow, pick up a couple more items and mail by the dead line. I hate just sitting and waiting.

This makes your hand made goodies that much more special. I'm really glad that everything worked out ok. And thank you for the lovelies you included in my ss package.

Sorry all- I missed the reveal. As it turns out a family friend whose mother was from Italy always has a St. Lucy's party. And it ended up being Sunday afternoon through evening and when I got home I had totally forgot about the reveal. I'll have to open Monday after work and post, and read up on everyone's fun.

I received a wonderful package from Machel. Beautiful fabric, machine embroidery threads (which I love) and Hershey's kisses which I've never had but always heard about so I am looking forward to them. Thank you so much Machel.

Brandy, I'm sorry I'm so late posting! Thank you so very much for my perfect package! You must have spent some time searching for my previous posts - my gifts were things I love. I kept saying, "This is the best!"

I must get my camera out and figure out the new procedure for posting pics. But so the rest of you know what wonderful things Brandy sent, I have a great assortment of felted wool, beautiful Civil War fat quarters, thread (including a set of spools in a little tin, which I collect!), pins, a very cool key ring that has a charm on it that says, "I love quilting," one of those cute little triangular thread holders (there was a thread on here of how to make them, don't remember what they were called?). a CD of Fast & Fabulous Holidya Patterns (maybe now I will use some of that leftover Christmas fabric), a neat roll-up ... sorry, I don't know what to call it - could be used to hold needle book and sewing items, or for traveling with jewelry - and it's in purple, one of my very favorite colors, and last but not least, a reallly cute little pen with a snowman and fluff on the top. I have one of these on my desk at work every year - will be taking this in with me this morning and will smile every time I use it!

Thank you for the wonderful gifts. You are so thoughtful and generous; I will enjoy everything you sent.
    Peace and joy,
    Robin
