Chilling the pan sounds like a good idea...
I have been doing the spritz in a long bar for the last couple years. Sprinkle with sugar and bake. When you take them out of oven, cut will still warm into individual cookies about 2 inches long.

Very kind of others to offer to send stuff to those who haven't received their packages and I thank you. But I am resigned to licking my wounds and wallowing in my self pity. LOL At least I know that the person I sent to was most appreciative by even sending a snail mail thank you....now isn't that what Christmas is about....giving and not about receiving????
I wonder if I was a really naughty girl this year??? LOL

Got the pizzelles done, but had a lot of rejects. For some reason they kept sticking in one spot on one side. The first several were fine but then they started sticking, so I only got about 50 instead of the 60 I should have gotten. Guess I had better make a cup of tea and eat them before they get stale. LOL

Hey, I remember doing that back a million years ago when my kids were little, I forgot all about them.

Still haven't heard from my pal...hope she likes her goodies. We've been busy making our annual cookie trays..... Snicker doodles, Old Fashioned Sour Cream Pound Cake, Peanut Butter Balls, Chocolate Crinkles, CC with Peanut Butter Filling, Mini Ritz dipped in White Chocolate, and Chocolate Covered Pecans....picked, shelled, and dipped by my DH.
OOOOO, where is that cookie tray? I think I've made myself hungry
Hope you all have a Blessed Holiday Season, with Love, Health, Happiness, and Quilting in the New Year.
{{{{{HUGS}}}}} to all, Beckie
