No, it mails just fine. I have shipped it from TN to Oregon many times to family.
I wouldn't send it in the summer ofcourse!

It gets packed like any other "fragile" item. It goes in a plastic hardshell container, and inside there is wrapped in plastic wrap. I will keep it in the fridge/freezer for a day before shipping, just in case, depending on which one it is. Some recipes are firmer than others.

Oh dreAmer I can't believe you even think you can send powder in the mail. Naughty naughty you. The postal system frowns on that. And black coal dust could be mistaken for ummmmmm maybe ummmmmm gun powder. Then you'd be for it!!
So black kettle Pot thinks that's a bad idea. Did you get any coal yet??
And isn't our corner cosy. Warm and friendly. Must go get my new quilt, the one from IRR that Charismah quilted. It's sooooo cosy.

good idea...must have quilts in our corner and make it all snuggly warm. I 'll pull the one off my bed Charismah did for me. See we will both have our C's.

Nope , no coal today. How about you ??
