Oh my, I got Sharoni's Zentangle self portrait last week and wanted to tell everyone it was a wonderful work of art. It is truly amazing and I will definitely read more about Zentangles...

Now if I can just get mine finished, a picture taken and then sent off to her by Tues. I'll be thrilled.

    Dotty,
I received your self portrait and I love it the weaving! The butterfly is now on my refrigerator. Love those batiks too! Thank you. I'm working on mine...

Hi all. Here’s my self-portrait. I live in California and treasure the warmth of the sun (the yellow fabric). I enjoy gardening (tomatoes) and the outdoors (trees/mountains fabric). I love the fall and fall colors. It reminds me of family, security, comfort. The red dots represent my son (age 16) who plays tennis. My ex-husband and I adopted him from Bulgaria at age 2. I don’t have any Bulgarian fabric! The matryoshka dolls represent my daughter (21) who was born in Russia and adopted at age 3. I’ve been married for 5 years to my good friend from high school. He gets the red hearts because I love him dearly. Last but not least, I love coffee and my kitties. Oops, I forgot to take a picture of the back. Flowers make me happy so they cover the back of my mug rug!
