I don’t have any Bulgarian fabric! The matryoshka dolls represent my daughter (21) who was born in Russia and adopted at age 3. I’ve been married for 5 years to my good friend from high school. He gets the red hearts because I love him dearly. Last but not least, I love coffee and my kitties. Oops, I forgot to take a picture of the back. Flowers make me happy so they cover the back of my mug rug!
absolutely beautiful, great colors and design, great bio!

I'm finishing mine up to send out today (you now know what a procrastinator I can be). This has been especially frustrating for me, because I've not been happy with the results so far. Especially in execution. But I'm learning a lot and am very inspired by all you've shared. I would do it VERY differently next time around (and not be coming in under the wire like I am today)...

Gladys, you will need to add your bio for your self portrait.

jillian, lets see what you've done. From the first post I thought you were doing an incredible job. This is a learning experience on technique and design. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Here is my self-portrait...I love hearts and the color brown, buttons, parties and birthdays, roses, NYC, kaleidoscopes(the center fabric), gardening and flowers..the cow print represents where I live in Chino, CA. I love owls and polka dots. My favorite color is purple/lavender which is on the back. This has been so much fun! Very challenging for me. Thank you for letting me be a part of this swap!
