Ok I finally decided what I'm doing I love to take pictures of flowers I also love to garden and paint and sew. So I am going to print one of my photos on fabric then I will add some hand paint touch up then I will do freehand embroidery. I love to torch and make marbles and I do beads I think I will make a glass stirrer to go with it then all my favorite hobbies are in. All that's missing is the family my most cherished part. So when I post the mug rug pic I will post some family pics so you know all about me.

I love all of them so far. Mine looks so simple. I hope the partner we get lets us know what each thing represents or the meaning behind each piece. That will be fun to know someone's personality without really knowing the person.

I will hit it again this weekend.
Stand in front of a lamp, so your silhouette is on the wall and have someone take a picture. Then scale it down and trace it onto a pattern and cut it out on material.
OK, great idea!!! Thanks! This is fun seeing everyone's ideas, too...

These are so much fun! I'm now thinking mine is BORING.

But here's the deal. A big part of who Jillaine is, is a figure and portrait painter. So the idea of "painting" with fabric is a challenge I wanted to take on. Here's where I am so far. No embellishments yet. No lips either! I include the original from which I'm working.

That's a good idea for all...to send a card with a brief explanation of each item on your Mug Rug...
