That sounds great, DJ... most of us have bins of scraps piling up. Those are perfect for cutting into usable 2" squares. Maybe this swap will help us tame our scrap bins!

I might be strange, but I love spending time going through the scraps, cutting them into strips or squares I can save. I find it relaxing and somehow very satisfying. Bonnie Hunter really influenced me to start doing this... and it does make you want to do some scrappy quilting, when you have the pieces all ready to go!

I agree with you sewbisgirl, cutting down small scraps is therapeutic & makes room for more fabric. I always save a set from each swap to keep me from duplicating swaps. I used up my loose scraps early in the summer. Saving larger swaths for a scrappy in the works, couple dosen are for vets in hospital overseas for handwork during their recuperation. This is so much fun!!! Thanks for hosting!!!
    hugs,
    dj

I just sent a PM to sign up for 12 sets and 4 twists.

Can there be repeats of fabric in the Christmas 'twist' sets or should they also be unique fabrics?

It is my understanding that we send up to 6 sets of 20 different holiday fabrics in the twist. Sewbisgirl, is that correct?

I agree, I love to cut fabric, especially when it is scraps. When I cut for this swap or any other swap, I include myself. So when the swap is complete. like this swap, I will have 1200 little 2" charms. Hopefully all different. A few years back, I hosted a once a month swap for 5" charms for over a year. I used quite a few, made 3 quilts, countless pot holders and table runners. then went on to other things. I still have some of those charms and that is what I am now cutting up. I hope you enjoy these little charms as much as I do.
I finished packaging 12 sets and now on to the Christmas charms. Should have these in the mail tomorrow or the next day.
    Have a nice day everyone!

20 unique fabrics in the Christmas twist, please. Same as the main swap, just less squares. Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

    And welcome, Cabbagepatchkid!

Right! 20 different in each bag, but each of your bags can have the same set of 20.
