    Isn't that chocolate yummy?
When we were in HI, I would go to the mall and one of my stops was into the See's store. You could go in and get a FREE piece! Of course, I got my free one and bought more lol

Oh Rhonda - so glad it arrived on time!! It looks good in the photos. I hope it's not too big - I noticed that many are much smaller. I have to learn to do that!! I'm so glad it matches your decor and that you like it!

Great quilt Rhonda - love the colors and fabrics used. I'm interested in the border finish also. Is it stitching that creates the effect?

Terri - sounds like we will be sending about the same time. How long will you be in Japan? It will give me time to think about how to quilt this one. :) If you see Yumi, say hi for me.

Your See's chocolate sounds like our Purdies. So yummy! I have to go to Vancouver to get it.

    Hi Panda,
We got home a couple of hours ago, and I'm sad to say you got further that I did. I still need to add your borders, quilt and bind. I'm hoping to have it done by Tuesday.

The question regarding the trim on the doll quilt (Rhonda's baby girl) - it's just a trim I bought at the quilting store, similar to rick-rack. It had loops that were in the same color group, so I couldn't resist. It came out cute - subtle, but a nice extra touch to give it some dimension when you touch it. dollies love that, you know!

I get back on Sunday the 13th and it should be in the mail by that Wed, I hope! I'm almost done with the top, have to search for some fabric for it. I know I have more of what I am looking for somewhere in my pit, I mean room.
It's really busy looking, but it's pretty!
