I like this idea too Esqmommy!!! I also like the idea for it being a few months away, to give us time to think on what we can use/do for our themes.
Rhododendrons, apples, evergreen trees, George Washington, notorious rain/mildew and a space needle   .... It will take me that long to figure out how to pull all of THAT together and into a mini quilt
    But I am game 8) 8) 8)

Maybe include a note as to the significance of certain aspects of the quilts?

Hey that makes me think of an idea - what if we did a themed doll quilt swap for our state or country? We could throw that out next year after the holidays!! Might be kind of a fun idea, seeing what people come up with!
This is a terrific idea!! :D I am all for it, too.

Leave it to esqmommy to come up with a great idea!!!
That would be so cool! I could have some fun with Canadian ideas!!!
    Now to start thinking!!!
Oh and Chele, I really don't think you will have any problems with interest! We just seem to keep growing and attracting more people!!!
