I got it today!!!! OMG how cute it is!!! I just love it. And I commend you on trying out applique as I have still been too chicken to attempt it. LOL And thank you very much for the pattern, I love it and am gonna try it out as soon as I finish my current project.
I should have had yours in the mail by now but have been delayed in doing so. But I will get it in tomorrows mail for sure so be watching for it.

All the quilts are so pretty. I posted a picture of the one I received from smtp5 but can't remember if I said I mailed mine to her. I don't want to appear on the "naughty list" so I'll post a picture of mine to her. I was boggled by the fall theme so I Googled "Maple Tree," and imported a picture into Quilt Assistant, the free program I learned about on this board. It resulted in about a jillion pieces and 37 colors so I simplified it. This is my interpretation of a maple tree, with maple leaf buttons for falling leaves.

I am SO glad it arrived! I was beginning to worry. I am delighted that you like it. I enjoyed working on it immensely, and my DH assured me you will like it (LOL, he is my biggest fan and supporter).

BTW, I am finding out that I am really enjoying applique, so far, I've done it in small doses, and will continue to do so until I feel comfortable, because I am planning a big one for the new year . I encourage you to try it, I have very limited (actually none) sewing experience before starting quilting, and still a new quilter and I can do it, I am sure you can.

I was going to PM you and let you know I mailed yours yesterday. Should be there on Mon. I know the DQ you made will be beautiful. I'm hoping you will be pleased with the one I send you. Can be returned or exchanged with a receipt.
