Wow! I feel so far behind everyone else this month! I finally got my August quilt into the hands of my partner! Whew that was a chore this month, seems like karma was against me! Keeping my fingers crossed this month works out better! can't wait to get started!

Love the ribbon embroidery, wish I knew how to do it myself!

Well the top for my second one is done. And, as usual, I feel like I am engaged in warfare with the fabric bits.

    "Do this," I tell it.

    "No, we're going over here!"

"OK. But this bunch is going over there."

I look at it and hate it. Then I look some more and kind of like it.

    I should be locked up.

Only if I can be in the same cell. THEN we'd show the fabric what we want to do.

    "You'd better go here."
"No I want to go there."
"If you go there, that's her side of the room and she'll put you some place else."
"Oh no! Not HER! Ok..Ok...I'll go where you want me to.."

fade out to the sounds of whimpering fabric finally realizing that WE are in charge......

and then the alarm clock goes off and I wake up.

    Sigh. (grins)

Bonni, too funny! But in my house, the fabric always wins.

Come to my place. I just let it think it will win. *I* get to poke it with needles as revenge!

Sometimes you just have to concede. Every once in a great while the fabric was right all along.
