I'm not crazy about Halloween, per se, but Autumn theme is fine.

I am up for either the Halloween or fall theme. I will go with my partner's preference.

Cjaye, I can see why your cats want to grab your mouse pincushion. I am sure they think it was made just for them!

Personally, I don't celebrate Halloween but then, I won't be swapping again until January. I will stay in touch though... can't miss everyone's little quilts.

Yes, there is one on here, there is also a warning I didn't see in a later thread. Steel wool can leave tiny particles in the bobbin area of your machine. You might want to check them out before you use it. Might want to either forget the home-made sharpening bag all together or take needle out of machine first. Sorry! I thought it was a good idea and made a half-dozen of them for friends.

I am in the process of making my partner's dq and I may not want to give it to her, I have not made this block before and I truly like it. I just may make one for myself.

I have to agree....I don't like Halloween either. Fall or Harvest are so great for the colors and the leaves and the pumpkins....much better than bats and vampires!

Can you guess what my partner next month is likely to get???
Oh, ME ME!!! (Wildly waving hand!!) I want the NYB blocks for October!!! ME ME!!!

    I have no shame!!! LOL

Great little quilts, everyone!! So creative.

Over the weekend I found two stuffed animals made from vintage quilts, so I bought them, got some of my doll quilts and a small decorative trunk I already had, and I made up a cute little vignette in my living room next to the fireplace. I'm gonna take a picture and post it in Pictures tonite. I love it!! In fact, I love it so much I found the pattern for the teddy bear and I'm going to make some for my grandkids out of some of my shabby old quilts. Can't wait!!
