The Jeep is loaded (to the hilt), I am about to go take my shower.

Than I am off to the bank and the grocery store to pick up a few
little items we need, after which we are on the way to the cabin.

I will talk to you all from there (I am taking my laptop, but not the
iPad) we will have internet up there.

However I am going to be fairly busy TRYING to make a suit case
sleeve for Louise (no silly not me, the OTHER Louise step-mil). This
means that I am lugging up the big (brother 1500D) machine along
with hoops, thread, stabilizers and pretty much everything I MIGHT
    need for sewing.

    Later everyone.

wow, louise, you might as well stay home with all you're bringing. WHat a haul you're bringing. Have a great time and a lot of fun.

    Pat, congrats on the 13,000!

I have the windows open today, beautiful. My kitty Zoey is enjoying the windows open. (She's strictly indoors, unless she uses the porthole under our bed that leads to outdoors.)

We have a big group this month. can't wait to see what everyone is making.

I was looking at the mini quilt swap for last month. I think the theme was about fair days or something like that. What cute little quilts. They all did such great jobs and had terrific ideas too. Everyone have a good labor day weekend.

The 13,000 pat on the back was for you Lynnie. I'm no where near that. I'm back from yard sales and what a disappointment. But I did get 5 quilt books for $3. She had a handmade quilt frame that was nice but I don't quilt things that big. Besides I wouldn't have a place to put it. And then you have to hand quilt it and I haven't done that yet. It heated up to 77 but it's not humid.
The girl that was missing in the National Park might have been found yesterday. Autopsy not finished yet. Then in my city there was a 40 year old woman that was shot to death and in her driveway when her teenage daughter found her after school. That one shocked me as it's a pretty quiet city. Too much crime.

Here are a few pictures I took over the past two days, finished the purses today, also a quilt, my favorite that I've made, a couple of Pixie and one of the cake Sis ( Mary) made for me, and there is a old fashion lady pin cushion and a yo-yo bear and a cup candle from Sis on the dresser...Pixie in her bed in the closet

Rosemary, grat pictures. Love the color of your kitty.
Pat, that's so sad about the little girl. Heartbreaking really.
and so scary about the other woman. Terrible things happening
in our own back yards. two weeks ago, a woman down the block by
my moms house was found murdered. Crazy people out there.

Almost closing time for the swap, that means we get names soon.

Wow, Rosemary, you have been a busy lady. Love the bags and especially the quilt. Of course your Pixie is the best of all!

Don't want to overload you all, but you want pictures... Thanks for the complements Pixie is a buff color and she is a sweetie... Never find another like her. The fabric in that quilt was my favorite ever, bought a whole bolt of that, have placemats also and made lots of gifts too... The girl pincushion was at our seat at the first Christmas party I went to in the quilt Guild in 200... and of course my lovely birthday cake from Mary...

Rosemary, I love your pixie. She has such a cute face.
Love that quilt too, and your cake looks good enough to eat.

Does everyone know what they are doing for the purple swap?
I just need my name to mail it out. can't wait. I guess I'll be at the postoffice
on tuesday to mail mine out.

Love pixie's pink nose. Zoey is all grey, her lips, noes and toes included.
