Louise love your pictures and temperatures, I'm from Michigan and love the cooler temps, ours today was 94* when I looked one time... I like dogs but am afraid of big ones especially, had one when we lived in MI, a beagle named Patches... Loved here and had two cats then... But have had a couple bigger dogs jump on me and scared me so I try to stay away from them... We have about 6 cats in the neighborhood, outdoor cats and we put food out for them everyday.. One waits for me, we call him Goldie, then Blackie hides until he/she is sure that I am in the house and then sneaks over and eats her fill... Lucy is the cat who lives across the street and then there is a Siamese and a gray one running around, they all come on the porch for their meal...Have even seen a Possum and a raccoon that sneak in when it's dark outside... Thanks for all the kind words about my purses and Pixie...

Looking forward to the swap, I need to get something for the NC I am making when I go to Joann's next Friday.. Have some things brewing for the PC... Wow lots of swappers...

It has already been snowing up here in the mountains. But
not enough to stick or last for more than a hour or so.

Friday afternoon we was getting some gropple. What is
gropple?

It is heavier than rain, but not quite as heavy as sleet.

It is 8:44am and I can actually see the lake this morning.
Yesterday morning we had lake effect fog until about 10:30.

I am going to be repairing and OLD chenille bedspread today
it is about 60+ years old and in great condition except for the
top of the spread where people would have grabbed it to pull
it up. Just a few dry rot spots.

I will try to post before and after photos.

Louise is gropple the same as what we call "icy rain" ? (not sleet) Thanks for all the pictures. I love seeing them especially at this point in the swap when it dies down. What's everybody working on this holiday weekend?

Last night i took some scraps gifted to me and tore them down and resewed and made a nice fall background. they were pumpkin, brown and sunflowers then i appliqued a silhouette of a squirrel onto them. made 2 pillows about 18 x 12. now i'll be sewing out my crazy cat lady pillow. (urban threads.com). they have some different types of designs. 'modern' and punk stuff. alot of cute designs too. Alot of steam punk too, but don't judge till you go and look.

I love the pictures too, and I think I speak for all of us when we say we're jealous of those views!!!! beautiful!
