Is anyone else having trouble with their chicken pin cushions? Mine complained the whole time I was stuffing her (I used ground nut shells cause my sp has no allergies). I told Crystal (that's the chicken's name) that as long as it wasn't bread stuffing she was safe. Then she complaioned that my sp would stick her with pins. I informed her that her barnyard buddies have more problems than a pin evey once in awhile. Now she won't stop clucking because she wants to be mailed. I think I need counseling! BTW, Crystal is heading west........(3 hints in here)

The "special collection" Moda fabric arrived for my SP. Now to round up the rest of her goodies. Hint: hope it will arrive in time for her wedding anniversary!

Mary was that shop the $1.00 shop or Dollar Tree, if it was the $1.00 Shop, I was the manager at the one in Bartlesville back in 1999, They ended up closing that store and moved it out of the mall....
Donna it was called Dollar Shop. I was an independant store owner. My store was in a small wal mart mall. About 8 shops besides mine.It was in marshfield Mo. small town.I had it from may 2004- may 2006.My partner played funny with the stores bank acct. and also that was when gas went to almost $5 a gal. People just weren't shopping like they had been. Most customers were low-middle income. They couldn't afford anything after buying gas for work. About 6 dollar shops closed in the area the same year. OK, here's another chick I made and added the "crop"this time and that according to my hubby, actually looks like a chicken. Men! I made this one w/felt but a cotton body. I think I'll call her Polly since she's poly-filled.
