On an unrelated note -- If anyone on the thread plays bridge and does cross-stitch and would interested in some cross stich covers for bridge tallys, send me a PM.
I picked up several sets at Goodwill today that were too cheap to pass up and were packaged with something I wanted. I will post them on the correct list if noone here wants them. Wanted to offer them to my pals first. :-) I would save them for a swap but what are the chances a SP would say she loves to play bridge and do cross stitch?

Just wanted to post a quick note - received a great firmie today from Thomp116. Kris sent me a new sidekick - her name is Crystal and she has a lovely red cockscomb. I'll be posting pictures, hopefully, tomorrow. Also rec'd some pink fat quarters for a baby quilt that I am working on, a great halloween mug rug, a fall panel (will look great on the front door), lemon ade, scissors, magnetic shopping list and some recipe cards (Kris - where was your favorite recipe?). What a great present to receive. Thanks Kris!

Got my sp's pkg mailed today! It's going to a state with 2 a's in the name and will be there on Fri. I've never seen her post on here but just in case only 1 more little hint. I was born in this sweet state. I would love to join you all on the bench and bring some fresh honey for that cornbread (DH is a beekeeper) but since I just mailed mine today I guess I'll have to wait! Finally got caught up on all the pms and feedbacks and the 8 pages that accumulated today while I was at pt and then the dentist. Also went to check on my friend Marty and got her tucked in for the night lol. I got a phone call this afternoon and I will be getting epidural this Friday at 3pm.

Gals (and Guys), I have to apologize profusely for not "playing" this month. The time flew and just got away from me. Usually I send early, but not this month unfortunately. And I cannot send until Friday the 16th which I thought was the deadline. I just did not read the rules and assumed it was the same as always, but I looked tonight and it appears that it is the 14th this month. I'm so embarrassed.
