I wanted to thank Katie Ann for my gift. I will try and post a photo tomorrow. I thought I knew how but I guess I don't know where to insert the memory card.
She sent 8 fat quarters. A candle, a cute purple heart pin cushion, 3 magazines, candy, measuring gauge, 4 Mary Kay tubes of body lotion in a cute carrying bag. And a YoYo maker. Plus a cute kitten note pad. Also a deck of cards from Seattle, near where she lives, and a quilt pattern.
    Thank You again Katie Ann

Beautiful package. That red and gold holly fabric is stunning.

Any chance of you sharing the recipe?
Sure will, when I get home on Saturday I'll post the recipe. This is a good time of year to be making apple anything.

    Deby
If you're bring it to the bench, please sit on the opposite end from me. I know this will sound odd, but we grew up with an apple orchard and this time of year had apples in EVERYTHING. Apple fritters, apple bundt cake, grated apples in pancakes, apple sauce, apple juice, apples with pork chops, spiced apples. We'd go for a drive and someone would be eating an apple in the car. Ugh! I know it's weird, but the smell makes me nauseous. I will, however, be happy to pick off that delicious frosting!

Come have a seat. We have dessert and cocoa. And we are making cushions for this bench.

Well, I gave myself a treat. I signed up for my first ever class and I am extremely nervous about it. Scroll down a bit to see the New York Beauty Block class
    http://www.liqs.org/quilters_meetings.htm

And since I am dumping excess fabric like mad, I will NOT buy anything new to use at it. NOT!

I also found some steeply discounted codes for quilting magazines today and subscribed. So I will have something in my mailbox and something to share with the non-stinx-on-a-stick quiltie friends here.
Funny, I'm going to a stained glass quilt class this Sat.
Teresa, you'll have so much fun. Are you doing foil wrap or lead channel? Either way, it's wonderful. Enjoy!
Lead channel, Krystyna and I'm excited!

    Duh. Nevermind. Stained glass QUILT.
Yes but lead channels separate the glass pieces, or was that why you were saying duh? LOL The black batik will represent the "lead." The whole quilt is done in batiks.

OK. Now I am really confused. Are you working with glass or working with fabric?
