I decided that after I am done with this post, I will not look at this thread until next week and I will not bother to open my mailbox. Just another box full of bugs at best ... maybe the chill in the air will kill them so I won't have to wipe down my desk with bleach. Leaving the bench, too. Lonely sitting here by myself.
Uh hello....you're not alone on the bench, I've been right here beside ya!

Maybe next month I'll wait until the last minute to mail my SP pkg off so they'll have to wait like I've had to the past 2 times.......

Here is a better picture of the magnificent scarf that I received from Tussymussy in England. It is truly an elegant and unique accessory in a shimmery silver/blue color w/ fringe. As you can see it opens up to a hearty shawl size and can also be used as a scarf or a belt with a long summer dress. I have been playing dress up all morning!!! Now to check the pantry and whip up a batch of Caraway Cookies with Caraway Seeds from Tussymussy's garden for an afternoon shack along with a cup of Blackcurrant & Mangosteen Tea. Thanks again Tussymussy for each and every treasure you included in my secret pal package! You really made me feel special! (see previous post/picture to see a description of all the wonderful goodies I received)

picture of shawl did not show up

here is link to June swap and shawl is on page 74 and again on 75

I have a better idea. Why don't we have a separate swap for members who:
    1. Mail fast
    2. Actually read their partner's preferences
    3. Don't send stuff with bugs, snakes OR FROGS!!!!

I like having an extra shack. It breaks up the monotony of living in a pup tent.

with 2 sick furbabies, the vet bill tally so far... $286.00. wow!!

in addition to receiving such great swap packages to help relieve my shell shock, i got a great deal on a new baby. i purchased a family heirloom for the great price of $20.00 yesterday. i think i will name her josephine after my great-great grandmother & grandmother (obviously a family name). i have to take her in and have her finely tuned & up and running. josephine was born march 19, 1924.

Nifty new baby! Still kicking myself for picking up one of those with the same case for $5 at an estate sale and then giving it away on Freecycle. Oh well.

Oh! By the way, disregard all my messages today since I am not reading this thread. And ... another day with an empty mailbox.
