my local grocery has some great ones and i use them to tote just about everything in. i also send one in my swap packages.
cracker barrel has some nice large ones, they just cannot hold anything too heavy. i took one to use at our local farmer's market and the fruits & vegetables were too much weight for the poor bag. i had so many totes at one time, i had to give some away.

Okay, well really, here it is: I am a tote addict. Not just the nicer ones like from L.L. Bean, or the Professional Tote. I've got those and use them, but I also really like the ones that you get in stores for $1. Joanns and TJ Maxx have some really cute ones.
Just used one today at the local Mennonite vegetable stand. I take projects to our guild sew-in day, or to show and tell, etc. Love them. I think they'd be good in a SP package!
See, I just needed to see what peeps were getting to get the ideas going...

take a look at the happy new year swap. it's similar to secret santa but with a few less rules. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-144336-1.htm
I was thinking of signing up.. but seems like alot more "rules"
Do you have to be in on the chat so all can open at the same time ? Thanks for your help

Sent my basket full of goodies out today - my sp has been taking care of her loved ones lately as well as taking care of new puppies so she hasn't been on line this month - she's west/north-west of me and near the entrance to a national park.

Everyone who reads the book should sign their name and state in it. It definitely WOULD be interesting to find out how much of the world it gets to see.
I have heard of Bostwick, but never read her books. I'm currently reading the first novel in the Jennifer Chiaverini series. Also I picked up 3 quilt mysteries for $1 each at a library booksale - author Terri Thayer. She happens to be in the quilt guild in the San Jose area - I was floored. Also, two of the books are autographed. Can't wait to start them. Here's a photo of them. Anybody ever read them? You can buy them on Amazon for $.01 + shipping. Maybe someday I'll get to meet the author!!!

Today I got the best secret pal gifts from peaceandjoy. Homemade vanilla extract, 2 great magazines that I don't have, treats for my doggies (which they have been begging for), batik fabric, moda precut squares, a cute tin, thread, and a candy bar that didn't last long enough for me to take the picture
Thank you SO much Peaceandjoy!! I love it ALL!
