Have lost several crowns over the years and none have been able to be reglued. Good luck

Oh dang Hav! Did you swallow it? LOL So far that's never happened to me. But nope, I have never had a problem with them just gluing back in, thank goodness! My regular mailman is off today and so far the sub hasn't ran. Sometimes they don't at all and we have to wait until the next day to get any mail. Sad, but true. And I just KNOW he has my pkg!
Well no sooner did I post the last post and the mailman came and brought me my pkg!!! Look at all the goodies I got from Karen aka Ploverwi2! I LOVE all the beautiful FQ's! And the tons of buttons! Yippee! And everything else that I will definitely use! Thank you Karen I LOVE my pkg and it was so worth waiting for!! ACK! I forgot to put my seam ripper in the pic! THAT was what I asked for because I am ashamed to say I wore out my other one! LOL

I sent her a PM telling her that I was so glad my family wasn't home or they'd really be thinking I was weird.

She sent, what is her best trick that she learned (I had expressed that I'm new to quilting and would love to learn the tricks!) is using graph paper to plot out the quilt in the colors one is working with. So she sent Quilters Graph paper with a giant pack of Crayola colored pencils!

    Also included were...
~A Quilting Magazine (which I'm always too cheap to by myself. lol)
    ~Hummingbird Stationary Set
    ~Butterflies Calendar
~Book called "The Outer Banks" which I've never read
~A wonderful wonderful patriotic 'Learn to Quilt' kit
~A Quilters Emergency Kit that's in the shape of a salmon can.lol
    ~Chocolate Mint Truffle cocoa!
    ~Huckleberry bath salts
    ~HOMEMADE Blackberry jam
~A fall basket with 3 BIG pieces of patriotic fabric that I'll be saving as I accumulate fabrics for my first Quilts of Valor Quilt.
And last but not least, the cutest little bag... I think she made it... and is PERFECT for my cell phone! I never said this, but because of my neuromuscular disorder, I always carry my cell phone around my neck with a lanyard and a cell phone bag. This will replace that and is MUCH MUCH cuter!!!!

Thank you so much Connie. I really can't tell you just how much this touched my heart. It's ALL just so lovely.
You can also google different types of graphing paper to use for other types of quilts, such as hexagons. Also google coloring sheets there are a lot out there. Such as winding ways. You can also click on my name and then when my profile comes up you can click on the my pages link and go to the color wheel and coloring pages folder to check some of the links that I have found.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the packages keep getting better every month? They seem to be more individualized and more imaginative.

I went into the office today and was let go. This is a great company that I worked for and they care about their employee's. My FMLA ran out in June, and they continued to work with me. Today when they told me they were letting me go they made it clear that when I get my medical issues under control they want me to come back to work there. They also gave me 2 weeks severance pay and are going to pay my Cobra insurance for 2 months. They were not obligated to do any of this for me. I go to my pain management Dr on Wednesday and hopefully I can get them to figure something out that will work and no more medication that causes adverse reactions. At least I will be able to py my October rent because of this.
    ArizonaGirl sorry to hear of this. your employer was thoughtful to cover your Cobra for 2mos and a severance pay even though we all know that isn't enough. And when you do get better they'll be welcoming you back. If you need anything please let us know. Your in my prayers. {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}

I heard a large knock on my door and wondered what was wrong? Needless to say it was my SP package at the front door (postman knocks real hard when delivering packages here). THANK YOU SHARONANNE! I cannot tell you how happy I am to receive this package. Everything is and will be used! Ok so I received tissues, a button pin which I will be wearing for my son's wedding Oct. 8th! a candle a Snoopy to do list pad and pencil, a Valentine's panel which I love, Mounds, a small pincushion (really cute), fabrics in neutral to browns, Flower Power Pre-printed freezer paper to overcome my fear of applique! and a book by James Patterson, Witch and Wizard, one that I do not have! Thank you again SharonAnne!

Ahhhhh, Robyn, sorry to hear about your job. At least the company was good to you. So often, the employer's don't seem to care. If you can get unemployment, maybe that will give you some time to get to feeling better.
    Take care........

I received a note from NanaKathy55 in the mail today (she forgot to put it in my sp package), and she said that the mystery jelly is pear-orange jelly. Doesn't that sound yummy? I think I will wait to open it until a really dreary day when I need a bit of sunshine! Thanks Kathy!!!!!
