Lori, thanks for the great job you're doing. It is greatly appreciated.

Do we have alot on the bench this month? I hope not it's getting chilly around here to be sitting on the bench. Next month everyone may have to move inside in front of a window facing the mail box.

When does Oct. SP start, hope it's soon. I get just as excited waiting for a new swap to start as I do waiting for a package and waiting to se if my SP liked the stuff I sent her. Can my heart take all this stress?

Yeah Krystyna we want to see your beauty.
Not until I do a "perfect" block. I only have the two that I did in class and the tippy toe points are off a couple of the spires. Well, maybe I'll show you anyway since you already know what a knucklehead I was to miss three hours of the class!

Last night I went to my first guild meeting and Linda Hahn, instructor, was the guest speaker. This woman is my quilting alter ego! I just loved her attitude ~ and her quilts were marvelous!

I will have to make a post about it but here is her website http://www.froghollowdesigns.com/Fro...igns/Home.html

As for the guild meeting, it was the first for the year and they weren't too welcoming. I had to wait to be acknowledged at every single stop including the membership one. I ended up sitting with another woman who is new. We were asked to stand up as new members but no one asked our names! Oh well.

However ... they had a sale on books and magazines - 5 for $1 - so I got 5. At the end of the night, I saw there were a bunch left so ... $8 later I have a TON to share with my future SP's!

Oh. I don't want her. I already have one named Daisy.
Well, I already have the address...so there

    :XD:
Miss Daisy can come over to play anyway.

It was sweet of you to take such caution. THANK YOU!
Ooooo! Show us! By the way, what do you all think about adding a t-shirt size to the questionnaire? I do machine embroidery and came into a ton of cotton T's. I would love to make a special shirt for my SP. And if, like me, you wear a size with an X in it, no doubt it's because you want a nice roomy sleep shirt!
