received my package from my secret pal yesterday afternoon. It is totally awsome. so many things I don't know where to start. Several hand made items that are great, the doily made by her father for starters is so pretty. The note cards are one of many things that I can't wait to use. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

I was at a Sunflower Festival last year. It is the first week in Oct. Unfortunately I will miss it this year for a very good cause. I will be in Myrtle Beach sticking my feet in the warm sand. ;)

Kim, what a great photo! As for pix, I am someone the camera does not like. When I was in my teens and 20s and looking pretty slinky, I got asked to model a lot. I kept telling whoever it was, the camera doesn't like me. One after the next, each photographer realized the truth of that statement. I looked demented or like W.C. Fields or worse. I ended up being a leg model for a well-known pantyhose company. At least you couldn't see my face! Later on when I worked as a musician, it was necessary to take 100 or more shots just to get one that looked decent! But ... here I am ... over the last five years ... with the color of the month and hair-do of the month.

And you are very sweet! Now that I am no longer working as a singer, my hair is long and brown with streaks of grey and most often in braids. I figure since I am almost a senior citizen and a "creative" type (haha) I can adopt that eccentric old lady look. Maybe I'll glue some seashells on my glasses to round out the style!

I agree ! I love the statement , " Color of the month " . I'm thinking about going dark brown again.

It IS me! About 40 years ago. These days I pretty much look the same. Just a bit "fluffier".
