Can I just say that in 24 hours I have managed to find what is probably way too much stuff for my new pal! She was kind enough to give lots of tips( I will have to get better at this). Including her favorite colors, I have recently ( about a year) started hand dying fabric. How much yardage is too much?
My only regret is that I can’t contact her before I ship😂

    Default Package from Reba!

I was unable to post a thank you photo of my package in August from Rebaquilts. So here it is:
She made me a sewing roll with places for everything and a beautiful pin cushion with pockets for everything.
She included clips, pins, and needles.

    I am honored Reba!

    Many thanks,

    Deborah aka Gaijin

    Default putting things together

I did a little retail therapy for myself and my secret pal over the weekend. It's so funny when I look up particular fabric or tools for you all I always find myself thinking "Hey, that's pretty or very useful and I need one too!"

@Yiaya , if you run into a Richard and Lena Galambos, Elizabeth (Cissy) Galambos-Sasso or Aaron Galambos is Vero Beach, they are my aunts/uncle and cousin, respectively.

I had to get creative with my pal as I've swapped with recently, so most of my usual add-ins to bulk up the package I have already sent. Ordered a few things online including her most wanted item, and creating some new things.

Anna, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I don’t want to mess up my first swap! Just waiting for one more item to arrive and I will have completed what I hope will be a well received box of goodie’s.

You will do great. waiting on items is one of the main reasons for running late. People do not mind waiting a little longer for their goodies. Just let hav4boys know if it takes more then a couple of days extra. Great to have you in this swap.

    Smile

BrendaK and I got to know each other in person 2 yrs ago. Whenever we are close by with our RV we drop by and visit as we hit it off really well. Due to her recent diagnosis, as she explained in a previous note, we were not sure if we would be able to visit. It did work out and we had a blessed time visiting. I was also able to drop off, in person, some beautiful quilts, she made. Please click on the pictures to see her quilts better and to do them justice.
