Tha't's what I did. Have several small things made and stashed in a drawer in my sewing room. Add bits and pieces as I buy them, then finalise and pack the day after I get my pals name.[/quote]
That's a great idea![/quote
What are some of those small things? I'd love some ideas not only for my pal but also to use up scraps. :) :)

I got my package in the mail!!! This was my first swap and WOW! Christmas fabric (which I really really need!), candy, a new magazine, a cupcake pincushion...all kinds of goodies, and this was all from Dotty (dotcomdtcm). What a fantastic gift to receive. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dotty! I love it all! The fabric is beautiful, the pincushion is being used, and the candy is gone (& boy oh boy, was it good). :D

Perhaps it takes more than one person to do this without the leader feeling overwhelmed. No one wants to stop quilting to organize all this so perhaps we could all offer to help out somehow; maybe each take a few names to match up with other names? I'm not exactly sure how it would work but I'd be willing to help. What do you say, leader person?
