Well, I got off my rear and stopped letting this project intimidate me, and just did it. I'm so happy I did. It is not finished, but coming along nicely, and I pretty excited with myself. I haven't quilted much in a long while, and I am learning new thing already! Thanks for the challenge!

Lookie - lookie what I got!!! This from Cheesehead, isn't it awesome. It is going to hang above my sewing table to remind me that I will be successful creating with joy, wisdom and strength. 
And she included some goodies - a delightful zipper pouch and two fun fat quarters. Thank you Cheesehead - the embroidered Chinese figures and words are awesome - as well as the pieced lanterns.

hello ladies. sorry i have not been on, i have been driving taxi cab for the kids. [ATTACH=CONFIG]430377[/ATTACH] here is the beautiful quilt i received from luvs2quilt. it reminds me that its time for school to start again, which is fun at our house, because we go on lots of field trips. she also sent some pretty blue fabric that is calling my name... maybe a blue and yellow doll quilt?

luvs2quilt, love the August quilt with red apple on it. So unique! And Cheezhead, those Chinese lanterns./words of wisdom were awesome! Great job, Ladies. JABA! It came today! Only took from Aug 5 when you mailed it to August 15 when I received it! So much for Priority Mai rates! Overrated for sure. Thank you so much. I love it and I can always use the tissues, haha. Drip season is almost on me here in Illinois where they will start picking the corn soon and the nose will be running! Did you make the tissue holder, too? I really like that. Have to close IE and open Google Chrome before I can upload picture for you.
