I am one lucky lady!! BertyD sent me this lovely self portrait. I been showing it around and everyone thought it was a portrait of ME!! And it could be, the hair color is almost an exact match. LOL This is the cutest DQ EVER!! My camera just isn't doing it justice. And, how did you know I used a ripper? I thought that was my deep dark secret! LOL All the extras are much appreciated!! Yours should be in the mail tomorrow. I'm stuck on the final "finish", hope not to start over. LOL Made my robin, now don't know what to do with it. Yea. That is me. Anyway, here is a picture of the DQ I received: Just don't salivate too much on it!

BertieD you look simply stunning....but where are the curlers!? I love this work of art. I do not have the gift to create something like this, so am impressed. Lucky you Buslady!

I love the lil scissors fabric as well as all the little quilts coming in! So pretty! The Burbs and the Blueberries/Cape Cod backing. Wonderful!

Anyone that can do paper piecing can make their own Fairy Godmother. The pattern is free at www.paperpanache.com
Just answer the questions and your fairy godmother pattern will appear for you to download. Be sure to save your Code #/name. I am Fairy Godmother Fabapoppin, lol! The wrinkles are due to my age, ya know!

At the Fairy Godmother site, there are pictures of other customer's FG's and they are all different! Just hysterical! I don't do paper piecing very well so I kinda messed up one section but it still turned out better than I thought it would. Try it--betcha can't make just one! I have to make another for my sewing room, haha. And Cogito, shhhh. Everyone doesn't know about my pink curlers -- guess I could show them now that we have their curiosity aroused. And seee, my self portrait is almost identical, haha.

BertieD, you are captured perfectly in your self portrait for buslady. The tiara is so much better than pink curlers...not that there is anything wrong with pink curlers, I have to admit there are some of those in my bathroom and they look good on you BertieD

PLEASE dont choose this for a monthly swap. Looks extremely complicated! I am not a paper piecer. It was a fun site though BertieD so thanks for sharing.
