received some FQ's that coordinate with a larger piece and that pattern would be really cute to use the large piece in the center and the FQ's around it! Just hate figuring out the math...so, Tam-moo, if you already have pattern and/or measurements, I would love them

    Default chicken DQ for ljdugas31

ljdugas31 rec'd the DQ that I sent her today and has asked me to post the picture of the quilt. She had told me the colors of her kitchen and I thought this chicken quilt would work good for her. Chickens remind me of spring so felt chickens were a good spring DQ.

Linda, Thanks for being such a good partner.

Argh! I just sewed 56 little one inch squares together and was rejoicing because they all came out nice and straight and it meant I was 1/4 of the way through. BUT THEN I looked closer and discovered that every single one of them was flipped left to right! And not in a mirror image either. Grumble mumble growl... So i'm stopping for the day and maybe tomorrow I won't be as addle brained!

Seems I need to put on my big girl panties too...

Mary, that is a simply marvelous quilt! Those chickens are remarkable and I love your placement of the fabrics.

    Thanks for the panties!
