I received my quilt from Cognito and it is gorgeous! She even added buttons for my initials- DO! She also included some goodies: scissors with a beautiful fob and case she made herself, fabric and machine needles. She also sent me a card and a letter. I hope she receives my quilt soon-you can never tell with international mail!
Thanks again Cognito! You did an amazing job!

So happy you like it Gaijin! It was my first time ever, believe it or not, to make a string quilt....I have decided I like that process so may do it again some day! Later when I am at my big pooter, I will post pics of the back/label since I know some (like me) love to see those too. I am really excited to receive yours...since we mailed the same day, it will be SOON!

Lovely quilts! I always love birds! We live in a wooded area and enjoy many different songs-with Mrs. Wren keeping order, of course! She and the Mr. take over any little birdhouse they find.
Cognito-such a sweet string quilt! I haven't made one, either, but keep thinking I will. You were very creative with the different embellishments you added.
